With Asterisk you can force users to setup a password, record a greeting and record their name. This is all done by an automated setup process. This is only accomplished if the following options are set.
- The mailbox password is the same as the mailbox number
- in voicemail.conf (one or both of the following set to yes)
- forcename=yes
- forcegreeting=yes
